Donate Life Month
April is National Donate Life Month, and we are pleased to collaborate with Donate Life NYS on this critically important annual observance. Throughout April, Donate Life NYS encourages you to raise awareness in your community about the importance of organ, eye and tissue donation. DoNation Campaign
Do your efforts to promote organ donation awareness need a boost?
Are you looking for new ideas to engage your community and encourage people to join the state donor registry?
HRSA’s Workplace Partnership for Life program is now the DoNation Campaign, uniting America’s workforce for organ, eye and tissue donation. DoNation engages workplaces of all sizes and across all industries in efforts to improve awareness about organ donation and transplantation and to sign more people up as organ, eye and tissue donors.
Help create a donation-friendly culture in your workplace using free DoNation tools and resources. Be part of the program that has encouraged over 630,000 Americans to become organ donors since 2011!
The DoNation Campaign begins on Oct. 1 of each year and ends on Sept. 30, or when a workplace has completed their activities and initiatives for the year. When workplaces have concluded their activities for the campaign year, they submit their completed scorecards to their local organ procurement organization. HRSA then recognizes partners for their participation. Official recognition takes place beginning in May, when partners are celebrated by HRSA as well as their local OPOs. Recognized partners can also access a suite of recognition materials to share their efforts and success on their web and social media platforms.
